WEEKLY ACTING CLASSES AT INSTONE
InStone Actors Studio's weekly acting classes and workshops offer students the opportunity to work every week on technique and an option to choose scene study, monologue or cold reading skill building.

Acting Classes are taught in a professional, supportive environment in which students are encouraged to claim new territory, making bold, unique choices which highlight their individual acting talents.

Acting Classes are ongoing, year-round and mixed-level. The mixed-level approach has been extremely successful, assuring that experienced acting students approach their work with a fresh, beginner's mind, while the less experienced gather acting experience working with actors of different backgrounds, mirroring the on-set experience.

INSTONE'S WEEKEND WORKSHOP INTENSIVES
InStone Actors Studio's Weekend Acting Workshops are designed for the professional actor, the aspiring actor, as well as the non-actor interested in improving self-expression, public speaking and communication skills using the craft of acting.
 
The workshop series of classes guides participants through a sequential exploration of acting distinctions and is devoted to the goal of understanding the craft from the inside out. You can start with any class or workshop and work your way through the series.

A variety of unique techniques and processes are utilized and the acting coaching is individualized and from the heart. Participants are encouraged to break new acting ground in artistry, self-expression and self-awareness.

To participate in the craft of acting is to participate in what it means to be human and through practice of the craft at InStone's acting workshops and acting classes, you'll find strong clear acting coaching and a place in which to claim new artistic territory.

PRIVATE ACTING COACHING
Private acting coaching provides students with the opportunity to work one-on-one with InStone founder Nora Stone and hone in on specific areas of concentration. Acting students are challenged to dig deep and find their distinctive artistry and individual expressiveness, and then funnel that into their execution of the acting craft. Private acting coaching works well in conjunction with weekly acting classes and also stands alone as a superb training option. Acting coaching is available before auditions as well as on a regular basis. Please contact the studio for details and to set up a coaching schedule.
